Dr. Megan Morris Evans was born and raised in Athens, Alabama. After graduating from Athens High School, she received her Bachelors of Science in biology from the University of Alabama-Huntsville. She then attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry. Dr. Evans completed clinical internships in ocular disease, contact lens, low vision, pediatrics, and vision therapy. Dr. Evans provides comprehensive eye care, including the diagnosis and medical treatment of eye diseases, as well as routine vision care and ocular emergencies. Dr. Evans is active in her church and local philanthropic organizations. She and her husband, Taylor, have one daughter and reside in Athens. |

Dr. Gregory Stewart is originally from Birmingham, where he graduated from John Carroll High School. He then received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Mississippi. Following that he earned his Doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. In addition to performing routine eye exams and contact lens evaluations, Dr. Stewart is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye syndrome, conjunctivitis, iritis, and corneal diseases. He is married to Claire, a reading specialist at Midtown Elementary School. They have two young children and live in Athens. Outside of work, Dr. Stewart enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and grilling, and watching Ole Miss sports. |

Dr. Paul Vandiver was born and raised in Decatur, Alabama, a graduate of Austin High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Athens State University, followed by a Doctorate of Optometry at The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2004. During his rotation as a fourth year student, he was honored to have the privilege of being mentored by Dr. Rob Sandlin. Dr. Vandiver is a member of the American Optometric Association, Alabama Optometric Association and North Alabama Optometric Society. Dr. Vandiver has practiced in north Alabama for over 16 years and joined Athens Eye Clinic in 2021. He provides comprehensive eye care, including the diagnosis and medical treatment of eye diseases, as well as routine vision care and ocular emergencies. He is married to Leslie Brown Vandiver, also from Decatur, and they are the proud parents of twins, William and Westyn. They have called Athens their home for over 14 years. Dr. Vandiver‘s interests include: traveling with his family, hiking, guitar, and Alabama football. |
